While taking your temperature is not required in the postpartum mode, measuring is encouraged as it helps our algorithm detect when your fertility returns so you can feel prepared and in control.

You may ovulate before you get your period back, and this makes it hard to know when you will be fertile after giving birth. For this reason, NC° Postpartum will give you only Red Days until your first ovulation has been confirmed.

Measuring your temperature isn’t necessary while using NC° Postpartum, but it will let us know when your ovulation returns so you can start seeing Green Days in your fertility status. 

Of course, if you measure with an Oura Ring or Apple Watch, we’d encourage you to keep at it! Since wearables track temperature data in your sleep, they can help detect changes without extra effort.
