Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement describes how Natural Cycles' digital services – our app (iOS and Android) and our website (including the sign-up flow) – comply with the requirements of the Swedish Accessibility Act (swe: Lag (2023:254) om vissa produkters och tjänsters tillgänglighet) and related EU legislation (European Accessibility Act, EAA). This statement refers to our services provided at https://www.naturalcycles.com/sv and the app Natural Cycles (available in AppStore and GooglePlay).

Natural Cycles’ website and app is a digital service with a focus on women's health. The web app and app specifically constitute a CE marked medical device intended to be used by women 18 years and older to monitor their fertility. The Natural Cycles app and web app can be used for preventing a pregnancy (contraception) or planning a pregnancy (conception). We strive to ensure our digital services are accessible and understandable to all users, as well as robust, regardless of their functional abilities.

Our Commitment

Natural Cycles is working to ensure that all Natural Cycles digital properties are accessible for all partners and users. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our digital services.

How Our Services Meet the Requirements

The Natural Cycles app and website are partially compliant with the Accessibility Act and the harmonized standard EN 301 549, which corresponds to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We are aware that there are accessibility areas that we are actively working to address. Natural Cycles efforts to improve digital usability and accessibility are guided by recommendations established by these standards.

Our services are available via both the web and our app. You can sign up for our services, which will give you access to services provided. This includes a manual for the use of the services available at Natural Cycles Manual. There is additional explanatory information on how to access different parts of our service within the website and app, and in the manual. We strive to fulfill the standards set forth above and continuously make improvements in order to be available for all. If you have any difficulties in accessing any part of our services, please contact us for assistance at our Customer Support: https://help.naturalcycles.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Areas for Improvement

Third party audits of our app (iOS and Android) and website (including the sign-up flow) have identified areas where accessibility needs improvement. These areas for improvement primarily affect users of screen readers, keyboard navigation, and those with cognitive and motor impairments, as well as individuals with low vision or color blindness.

What We Are Doing to Make Improvements

We have plans to address the areas for improvement. Our goal is to continuously improve the accessibility of our digital services and resolve these issues in upcoming updates. Our efforts are ongoing as we prioritize issues that have the greatest impact on the user experience and we continue to develop our digital accessibility program, which includes coordination with internal and external accessibility partners, as well as designing, developing, and testing Natural Cycles’ digital properties for accessibility. We aim to address high-priority issues within 2026, with continuous improvements thereafter.
